The First Glimpse of Baby Jenkins...Boy or Girl??

We had an ultrasound this morning and saw Baby Jenkins for the first time. Everything looks great, and the baby is healthy. We decided not to find out whether or not we are having a boy or a girl. So, the ultrasound tech is the only one who knows. She wanted to tell us so bad, but we wouldn't let her. The important thing is that the baby is healthy!!

There are two feet pictures. She said the baby had big feet...probably Ryan's she suggested. There are two face pics. One is a side profile, and it looks like the baby is doing the thinking position with the hand up by the head. The other one we think the baby may have my chin and nose. We'll find out in a few months.

We would love for you to post a guess of whether or not you think the baby is a boy or a girl...not that you can tell from the face or feet. But it would still be interesting to hear what people have to say.

Here's the first glimpse of the small one pound wonder..........

These pics are amazing!! I think it's a girl but am like you both in wanting a healthy baby. Either will be a joy and change your hearts forever. Love to you both. We miss you.

Well, we're not finding out this time either, and it's killing Jeff. I go on Monday, and he's begging me to at least have them put the results in an envelope. I'm standing strong. For us, already having one of each doesn't really matter, and him spoiling my surprise last time...not allowing it this time!

Hope you're feeling well.

Yeah!!! I'm excited.

It's a Boy. Maybe? If it's not a boy, I'd say a girl... but pretty sure it's one of those.

Congrats guys!!!!

Well now if the baby is in a thinking postion we all know it will have to be a girl. Although I am partial to both boy and girl babys. I love to snuggle them both.Give my love to the Muffinman. Love Mom

We love all three of you. Mom and Dad

yes! it's a real baby! If you would have been gutsy and gotten the femur shot I definitely would have known, but all I can say is that its a beautiful kid. twist my arm... I'm feeling boy. I mean, at least 50% sure.

I think everyone's got the right idea -- big feet (boy); thinker (girl). Hey, maybe it's twins and we're seeing both of them.
But -- methinks it's a boy!!!
What a wonderful time; and we're
all so excited about the baby.
Take care.
Love, Martha

Well, Ryan so needs to have at least one girl to protect from all those silly boys so I'm going for girl... but BOYS are so much FUN!!! I haven't had a girl yet but boys are so exciting and adventurous! Although I'm sure either way your baybay will be TONS o' FUN!!! Wait until the baybay decides to run around your house (with company there of course) with your undies all over them (cause they discovered how to open drawers!)! Yeah, that's one of many interestingly awkward family moments! Love to all 3 of you from us! HOpe to see you guys soon!!!~alison

Richie is thinking it is a boy. Call it OMI (Old Man's Intuition) Either way we are praying for happy, healthy mother and baby and that the father will make it thru delivery.
